Hello my name is Philippa.
I have ten years experience as a Kent based Registrar of Births, Deaths and Marriages (including Civil Partnership’s, Renewal of Vow’s and undertaking the Legal Preliminaries ‘Notice of Marriage’ interviews).
Five years ago I decided to become an Independent Celebrant and create bespoke ceremonies that could be conducted anywhere, not necessarily in a licensed venue. This opens up a world of possibilities for you.
You have the freedom to create your wedding ceremony, not settle for the “One fits all" standard offering provided by your local council. As an Independent Celebrant, not only do I get to meet you, listen to your ideas and help you create exactly what you want on your big day, I also have the opportunity to write individual ceremonies full of personal touches with no restrictions on the content too (!)
